OVERVIEW

Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 September 2026

Welcome to Olivara. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Olivara website and any purchases made through our online store.

By accessing or using our website, or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our website or purchasing our products.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website.

1. About Olivara

Olivara is an online jewellery brand offering fine jewellery, including pieces featuring lab-grown diamonds and other gemstones.

Throughout these Terms, “Olivara”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Olivara.

“You” and “customer” refer to any person accessing our website or purchasing our products.

Our contact details are:

Email: contact@olivarajewels.com

Company number: 17362102

2. Using Our Website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use our website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or systems

  • Interfere with the security or operation of our website

  • Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit our website content without permission

  • Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material

  • Use automated systems to collect information from our website without our permission

  • Impersonate another person or provide misleading information

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, measurements and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

However, slight variations may occur due to:

  • Screen and display settings

  • Photography and lighting

  • Natural variations in gemstones

  • Manufacturing processes

  • Differences between individual pieces

Where a product contains natural gemstones or other naturally occurring materials, variations in colour, clarity, inclusions or appearance may occur.

Such natural variations are not necessarily defects.

4. Lab-Grown Diamonds

Where stated, Olivara jewellery may feature lab-grown diamonds.

Lab-grown diamonds have essentially the same chemical composition and crystal structure as mined diamonds but are produced through technological processes rather than extracted from the earth.

Product descriptions will provide relevant information about the materials used in each piece.

Where a diamond or jewellery piece is accompanied by a certificate, the certificate details will relate to the specific stone or item identified on the certificate.

5. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to:

  • Limit quantities available for purchase

  • Discontinue products

  • Change product specifications

  • Correct errors in product information

  • Refuse or cancel an order where necessary

If a product you have ordered becomes unavailable after your purchase, we will contact you and provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund where applicable.

6. Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are stated in GBP (£) unless otherwise indicated.

Prices may change from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted, except where required to correct an obvious pricing error.

Where applicable, taxes such as VAT will be handled in accordance with applicable UK law.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices displayed on our website are accurate.

If we discover an obvious pricing error before your order is accepted, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.

7. Orders

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

After placing an order, you may receive an automated order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

An order is accepted when we confirm that it has been accepted for fulfilment or when we dispatch the products, whichever occurs first.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, including:

  • Product availability issues

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorised activity

  • Incorrect pricing or product information

  • Payment issues

  • Errors in the order

  • Delivery restrictions

  • Breach of these Terms

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.

8. Payments

Payment must be successfully received before an order can be processed.

Payments are processed through the payment methods made available at checkout.

We do not ordinarily store your complete payment card details on our own systems.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the relevant payment method.

9. Delivery

Orders will be delivered to the address provided at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery commitment has been expressly provided.

For information about processing times, delivery methods, shipping charges and international delivery, please refer to our Shipping Policy.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, severe weather, customs procedures and other transportation disruptions.

10. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Our returns, refunds and exchange procedures are explained in our Return & Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable UK law.

Certain products, including personalised, customised or made-to-order items, may be subject to specific cancellation or return exceptions where permitted by law.

11. Custom and Personalised Jewellery

Where we offer personalised or custom jewellery, you are responsible for ensuring that all information, measurements, spellings, engravings and specifications supplied to us are accurate.

Once production has begun, changes may not be possible.

Custom and personalised products may not be eligible for cancellation or return where an applicable legal exception applies.

This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged or does not conform to the contract.

12. Jewellery Care

Jewellery should be handled and cared for appropriately.

Exposure to substances such as perfume, cosmetics, cleaning chemicals, chlorine and other harsh substances may affect certain metals, finishes or gemstones.

Olivara is not responsible for damage caused by improper use, accidental damage, neglect or failure to follow applicable care instructions.

Where provided, jewellery-care instructions should be followed carefully.

By submitting content to us for publication or promotional use, you grant Olivara a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display and share that content for legitimate business and marketing purposes.

We reserve the right to remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

16. Third-Party Services

Our website may use third-party services, including payment providers, delivery providers, analytics services, social-media platforms and other technology providers.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

Olivara is not responsible for the availability, functionality or policies of third-party services that are outside our control.

17. Website Availability

We aim to keep the Olivara website available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be:

  • Available without interruption

  • Free from errors

  • Free from viruses or harmful components

  • Compatible with every device or browser

We may temporarily suspend or modify the website for maintenance, updates, security reasons or other operational requirements.

18. Limitation of Liability

Subject to this, Olivara will not be responsible for losses that:

  • Were not reasonably foreseeable

  • Were caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control

  • Result from your misuse of our website or products

  • Cybersecurity incidents

  • Power or telecommunications failures

Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and communicate with you where appropriate.

20. Privacy

Your use of our website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.

By using our website, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, products or legal requirements.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will not affect rights or obligations that have already arisen before the updated Terms take effect, unless otherwise required by law.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable.

If it cannot be modified, it will be removed from these Terms.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

23. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a right or provision under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right or provision.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the applicable courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply to you.
